Brown Hair • Grey Eyes • 5'2 • 112lbs
Appearance,
Ara is a petite girl. She is a bit short standing at five foot two but she doesn't let it bother her at all. She looks like a typical fifteen or sixteen year old girl complete with the curves and breasts and mood swings to go with it. She had been looking forward to the fact that she would get taller and such but that never really came for her. She doesn't complain though. She is also very slim weighing in at roughly one hundred twelve pounds. Moving on, her hair is a beautiful brown and is silky smooth. It is straight naturally but it is very agreeable and she can do whatever she likes with it. She has put it up in a variety of ways in the past and loves curling it or leaving it normal so that it falls just a few inches short of her waist. Her favorite feature is her eyes. They are a beautiful gray that just about always hold a happy look to them. Her brother commented once saying that when she is really really angry they darken and look like storm clouds. Also if the moonlight hits her eyes just right her gray eyes look silver.
She has a good number of scars from her childhood she was a very rough and tumble girl and still is. She has a scar on the left side of her lower lip where the pink meets white from when she fell and bit through her lip, her has scars of her arms and legs from falling over, animal mishaps, tree climbing and all sorts of things, most of them are faded though but you can still see them. Also on her left wrist if she holds her and out she hake yours pointed at her thumb is a faint arrow shaped scar. On her right arm just above her elbow on the inside of her arm there is a group of freckles on the shape of a dipper constellation or an eighth note depending on how you look at it.
Ara's clothing varies drastically. She does have a tendency to dress rather casually, but she dress formally as well depending on the occasion. Her everyday wear is bright cheery colors usually and a variety of bottoms as well. She likes so wear clothes that fit her comfortably and that often means it hugs her figure with out suffocating her. When she does go formal she does a very good job. Of course if she is to go on a nice date she won't dress up in a ball gown but she will dress well. A dress usually that fits in her comfortable category but look classy and such as well. These out fits vary as much as her casual wear does though don't be surprised to see her is many different dresses. Also she has a golden heart-shaped locket with a picture of her, her parents, and both her siblings on one side and one of her and her siblings on the other that she loves and almost always wears. It was a gift from her mother and older sister one year for her birthday before they died and is the last thing she has of them.

Spells and Abilities,
~ Healing Light: She is quite skilled with her healing abilities, but she can not heal herself no matter how minuscule the injury. In order to heal someone, she must make skin to skin contact, her fingers touching the person, preferably near the place of injury, but anywhere will work, the further from the injury the more it takes to heal though so she tries to get as close as possible. As skilled as she is, she can not cure someone of an illness, She may be able to lessen the pain for a short time if that is in issue, but other wise modern medicine is the best option, or asking another healer. The only exception is if a wound gets infected, she can heal around the infection and kill it's base, but some other medical attention may be needed if the infection is bad enough.
Ara's strong suite is external injuries, such as cuts and bruises. If she can see the wound she can healing with relative ease. But like anything, the bigger and more extensive the wounds, the more energy it take for her to heal it. Internal injuries are harder for her. She's still pretty good at healing things such as broken bones, internal bleeding, headaches, things like that, but it's a lot harder for her and makes her tired quicker, even if she can still usually heal such things up. And again the worse the injury, the harder to heal.
Even with her skill, she can only do so much. As stated, the worse the person she is healing is, the harder it is to heal. No matter how hard she tries she can not heal someone who is dying to full health. There is a point where she can not save someone and even using all of her strength and energy she can not do it. If a person is not at that point, it is likely she can heal them to the point that they won't die, but they will still be injured, and the amount of energy that would take would either make Ara pass out, or become incredibly weak to the point she is about to pass out but can cling to consciousness for a few more minutes. This same thing happens if she tries to heal many people from injuries at once without letting herself recharge so to speak.
~ Mystic Shield: Likely her second best spell, she's rather good at putting up a shield to protect not only her but those around her. She doesn't like having to use it since it means there's some danger she's got to get out of, but she has found that it is quite a useful thing to have and can hold it for quite a while and take a number of hits before she must drop it. All in all it's a power she enjoys having since it means she had a line of defense for herself and others if need be, but she has found she needs to be within ten feet of someone to have a shield up for them
~ Wind Blast: Fairly straight forward she can conjure a heavy blast of wind to knock over and stun her enemies. She doesn't often use this as she's not much of a fighter, but it has come in handy at times. She's not terribly strong with it and mostly she can just use it to stun her enemies not normally cause any really harm unless they do fall and hit something that would hurt them. but that stun is normally enough time for her t get away s she feels that's good enough. The only time its is truly very strong is when those she cares about are in danger and she can sort of channel her fear of losing them into her magic and make the blast more intense and actually throw a person but that takes a great deal of energy and it not really all that controlled making it potentially all the more dangerous.

Personality,
Ara is a really nice and sweet girl. She goes out of her way to help people out if they are in need. She is very caring when it comes to others and she again loves to help them out if she can and she usually feels bad if she can't. Being so nice she can tend to be too nice and maybe even too trusting of people at times.
Being so caring she is rather friendly. She is outgoing and tends to talk to just about everyone she sees if she is in a talkative mood but she does go out of her way to say 'Hi,' to everyone. She makes friends rather easily due to her kind, sweet, caring, and friendly personality. But with that outgoing side of her there there is the other. The more dare devil side of her. She is the type that isn't afraid to do daring things. She will jump into danger and act maybe a bit crazy in a good way. She would walk on a skinny wall not caring if it was about to crumble.
Ara is loyal to the core. Once you earn her trust and friendship you aren't going to loose it unless you do something stupid and stab her in the back. Saying this if goes back to her daring side. If you are her friend or family and you are in danger she is going to go out of her way to help you. She will do something incredibly stupid. She doesn't think she just acts. She hates the thought of loosing her brother because she lost her parents and older sister so she wants nothing more than to keep him and all her other friends safe despite her being the baby of the family.
And that loyalty leads to the not as nice side of Ara. Ninety-nine percent of the time she is super sweet and kind. But she can be feisty when she needs to be. She honestly is not good at fighting, as she tends to turn her attention to healing the wounds of battle rather than inflicting them, but she will put up the best one she can if needed. She has been known to throw some insults if needed. What really makes her snap though is if someone is messing with her brother or her friends. She will get mean and she will not back down from any fight that results and will fight hard.
There is another side of Ara that she wishes didn't exist, but she can't help it. Ara suffers from a mild case of PSTD, or Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, due to witnessing the death of her parents. Most of the time she is okay but there are times when she gets hit with small bouts of depression. She tries her hardest to overcome it, but there are some days when she just curls up and cries or mopes about, pushing away from her loved ones. Days when she thinks about the fire that killed her parents and she spirals into a guilt trip due to blaming herself for the events of that night. Many of these days occur after she has one of her nightmares of that night, often waking her siblings and it then takes one or both of them to calm her down enough for at least everyone to get back to sleep. When her symptoms of PTSD kick in, it takes some work from her loved ones to pull her out, but once she's out she's back to her happy optimistic self.
History,
Araceli was born in a small village in Italy on September fourteenth. She had a normal family. A mother, named Elena, a father, named Nicholas, an older sister, named Lia, and an older brother, named Dante. She was very happy and did things any normal child would. She learned to walk and talk and read and sing and such in Italian and later on English due to their mother's knowledge of the language. She loved all of her family dearly bit she and her brother held a very close bond. Out of all of the family these two were the closest. They shared secrets and ran around and laughed happily.
She really didn't worry much about anything despite her constant trouble making and getting hurt. Because, as a daredevil, she constantly ran into trouble, usually trouble she got herself into. She would find the tallest tree to climb, run on top of roof tops, run around town, and outside of town as well. She would find places no one else would dare to go in, and go anyway. All of this often leading to her many mishaps as a child. She has gotten far to many injuries to even consider counting in her life.
For thirteen years her life was happy. She lived a comfortable lifestyle and played happily. But one night Ara's world changed forever. She was sleeping happily like normal when she was shaken awake. She was surprised to see her sister above her pulling her out of bed saying the house was ablaze. She managed to grab her locket before she rushed out and hurried to Dante's room to wake him up. As soon as he was up Lia shoved them towards the stairs and told them to get out quickly. She went back to get their parents while Dante led Ara downstairs. When they reached the door Ara refused to go any farther with out their family. Dante tried to convince her to leave but she wouldn't budge. No matter how hard Dante tried to get her out she wouldn't come. Finally their parents and Lia came down the stairs and Ara ran into her sister's arms. A second later there was a crack above them and the next thing Ara knew she was being shoved by Lia. Ara stumbled to the floor just as a ceiling beam fell pinning her parents and older sister to the floor. Ara screamed as she was forced out of the house by her brother and she sobbed clinging to him as the pair watched their home burn.
They moved around after that just trying to go on with their lives. As time went on, Ara seemed to have developed a case of PTSD from watching her home burn to the ground with her parents and sister inside. She and her brother moved to Hollowhill Grove about a year ago to get a fresh start after getting enough to have a good cushion to live off of once they moved and have been living quite happily considering all that has happened with their loss and the apocalypse.

RP Sample,
((technically its from another site where shes not human buuuut it doesnt mention it much and its the same personality sooo i call it good))
It was a rough day. Araceli had started it at roughly two in the morning with another one of her nightmares. Her grey eyes snapped open as she screamed herself awake and then she burst into tears and sobbed for what seemed like forever. In reality it was only for a bout half an hour, but in that time Ara was surprised to find she hadn't woken either her brother or her aunt with her screams or sobs, which was odd since she always seemed to waken them when she had the nightmares that centered around the deaths of her parents and older sister. She hated them so much, but there was nothing she could do about that since they just kept coming back to haunt her and torment her. She knew she would never forget the night they died, there really was no way she could, but it had seemed to hit her much harder than her brother, and the nightmares always made it that much worse. She finally managed to get herself back into a bit of a sleep to catch a few more hours before she had to get up for school. During breakfast she chose not to mention her nightmare to her two remaining family members and just passed her gloom off as a restless nights sleep and assured them she'd feel better when the grogginess passed. She wasn't sure if they bought her story, but she didn't back down from her explanation and ate her food than headed out with a quick, "I'll be back later, I'm going to go out after school so I won't be home right away." Then she was gone.
School was totally brutal, but the little Italian werecat managed to keep conversations off the topic of what was bothering her somehow. But even so, it was hard to actually push through school. She was depressed and mopey and antisocial, which was a far cry from her normal upbeat, cheery, social self. She always was just so kind and helpful towards others and she said hi and really shocked those around her that she was being so down, especially since the few moods like this she had gotten into while living here in Harper Valley had all been with her family there and they pulled her out of it fairly quickly. This time was totally different. Even her teacher noticed something was wrong because she couldn't focus on her classes, her mind preoccupied with her nightmare and her overlaying sorrow. At lunch she didn't sit with her friends she went off on her own and sulked more. It seemed like an eternity that he ha to suffer though the hell that was school which what was on her mind before she was able to escape and she practically bolted as soon at the final bell ring heading out to be alone, which she knew she wouldn't get at home, at least not very much of it.
The first place Ara thought of to go to be alone was the cemetery so the young girl wandered the grassy area where the dead were buried, which was appropriate for the situation was currently in, despite her deceased family not being buried here. They weren't buried anywhere really since they had been turned to ash, a thought that made Ara cringe. Instead of remaining in the new, well groomed section of the dead's final resting spots, she wandered deeper into the older areas where the grass was taller and more wild. It was odd how peaceful and calming it was back here even with the melancholy air the place held. Here where the older souls rested with no one left to mourn them since they had been dead so long. Though, that wasn't entirely true since individuals who were immortal, or was the very least supernatural and old, had reason so come to this section and mourn their loves ones that may have died long ago. Or, more accurately, the older immortals, since Ara herself was immortal as she was a born were, she just hadn't lived that long yet. She had merely made it sixteen years on this earth.
After a bit of wandering, Araceli finally paused in front of and older stone cross shaped tombstone and she stared at it. She let out a little gasp as teas filled her grey eyes and she dropped to her knees into the thick, tall grass there. She ran her fingers over the words carved into the stone that revealed this grave belonged to a girl who ad died at the age of seventeen, the same age her older sister had died at. She stared crying an she shook her head at imaged from the night their home had burnt to the ground with her parents and older sister inside. She sat there crying for a small amount of time before she started to sing an Italian lullaby her mother sang to her and her siblings when they had been young children. She managed to keep the tears from affecting her voice as it rang out through the abandoned area of the cemetery, but they still ran down her cheeks, staining them and leaving her eyes red and glassy. Finishing the song, she sat there, still on her knees, in utter silence before she chocked out painful sob and lowered her head making her brunette locks fall and frame her face while she sobbed into her hands.
She couldn't help but sob like she was doing. Images ran through her mind of her parents and older sister, many of when they were younger but it was all tainted by guilt and sorrow. It was her fault they weren't here now. She had created their deaths. She was miserable and hated it, but no matter how much everyone always tried to tell her it wasn't her fault, and that it was all okay, she knew otherwise. If she had just been more attentive and remembered turn off the stove that night when she was done cooking the house never would have gone up in flames. If she hadn't fought Dante in trying to get to their family they wouldn't have paused to reassure her they were all fine. They would have made it out and that beam wouldn't have pinned them. She sobbed trying to block out the images of panic and smoke and the ceiling beam that had pinned most of her family to the ground in the burning house. And then watching helplessly as their home burned to the ground and knowing there was nothing she could do to save them.
