Hello and welcome to the Corrupted Existence PC Store. First off, the basics of what PC is and how it is used can be found in the rules for the site, located here. The purpose of this post is to explain a little more about what you'll find here in the PC store, and how to use what you buy.
First and foremost is of course *how* to spend the PC that you earn. Directly following this will be a template for store purchases. When you decide that you wish to buy something from the PC store, simply copy and paste the code and into a personal message to Vincent with a title appropriate to what you are buying from (racial skills store, magic spells store, Items&Artifacts store). Once we review your request, he will respond with acceptance, and a price if the item is a created one, or a denial with suggestions on what to do to make it acceptable. The code for purchases is as follows:

Items Purchased:[u] (simply list out the name of each item you wish to purchase ex: Create a Spell - Spellweaving)
[u]Item Description:[/u] (if you have purchased one or more of the create-a-skill/spell items, you will need to provide us with the name of the spell or skill, and at least a brief description of what it does. Otherwise, put N/A here.)
[u][/u]Transaction Total:[/u] (yes we ask you to do a teeny bit of math here. simply add up the total cost of all your items and put it here)
Next is the "Create-A-Skill" or "Create-A-Spell" purchase. Here on Corrupted Existence, once you have earned 10 posts with your character, you may choose to purchase this item, which will allow you to create a skill or spell that is unique their race or the kind of magic they use. There are however a few things to remember about this. Firstly, the skill you create *is* subject to review by the staff. We will look over the description and determine if it is fair and well balanced. Please make sure that just was with the default skill/spell, you include strengths, limitations and downfalls which are caused by using said skill/spell. If for some reason the skill/spell is not acceptable, your post will remain in the store where you posted it, and you will receive a PM explaining our reasons and asking you to edit it. If we feel that the skill/spell is fair, but it would be a higher tier or more advanced skill/spell we may raise the price of the created skill/spell. If this is the case, your post will remain in the store and you will receive a PM making you aware of this change in price and asking if you want to continue with the purchase. If either of these situations occur with your created skill/spell, and you have not taken some kind of action inside of a week, your post will be removed, and you will have to repost your purchase.
Lastly, we'll cover pre-created spells/skills, weapons and magical items. The main thing to remember here is to play by the rules which are set up by the skill/spell, item, or weapon. Some items/weapons for example will have a limited number of uses or a specific way in which they are to be used. By purchasing these items from the store, you agree to play them in the way in which we have intended. If you do not do so, you risk losing the item, or even being temporarily banned from buying more items after continued offenses. This applies to skills and spells as well, as some of them will affect the way in which you must play your character, or may even change the spells/skills that they currently have access to. PLEASE make sure that you play accordingly, as the purpose of this store is to enhance your experience on the site, not to cause problems for you or for us.
Once your purchases, whatever they may be, are done, you are free to use them in character whenever you wish. The first time that you make a purchase, we will created a thread with your character's name in the appropriate Expenses board, which will track how much PC you have spent and what you have spent it on. |
